"In my latest work, I'm looking away from the surrounding visible world to focus on the palpable internal world of physical sensations: feelings of warmth and coolness, heaviness and lightness, stasis and movement, cohesion and disintegration — I'm interested in how these corporeal experiences can be expressed in painting through geometry, abstraction, and the interaction of color."
“My paintings range from invented landscapes made using raw materials, to cityscape based on historical photographs, to more abstract work inspired by my experience with silent meditation. I've worked with different forms of painting to develop my personal interests as an artist. For me, the most absorbing part is experimenting with the material. I want to create a certain type of space and light that expresses what I'm feeling and how I'm thinking when I'm .”
